650 Rider went offline for about a month at the beginning of 2010. In order to save the technical information that was here, XS650.com acquired the site and brought it back online as a read-only archive. If you were a member of 650 Rider, you will need to re-register at XS650.com

I'm from the proboards forum as well. I just thought i'd stop by and check things out. I like here so far. Its still new and in need of more members but I like the personal gallery feature here. Its nice to post pics of our bikes in a gallery. Cant do that over there. I'll be back and forth alot. I plan on stopping by almost everyday for info and lastest and greatest news from everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I have an 80 yam xs650 that is currently undergoing a makeover into a cafe racer. Ive always wanted a cafe racer so this is my first oppurtunity to make one. Check out my gallery and take a peak. I'm trying to get her ready for the season and hopefully be able to make it to MidOhio this year. I would say its about 40% I like wrenching on bikes. I love cars. I love everything with a motor and wheels. Very Happy

none yet. Still trying to get this thing on the road and somewhat reliable. I do however plan on a major overhaul next winter. Tear it apart to bare frame and clean her up real good for a powdercoat on the frame, rebuild the engine and grind more of the unnecessary crap off like the center stand and other brackets. Im gonna try to lighten her up as much as I can. I'm debating on a swingarm swap as well. Again thats next winters big project.
