Okay so I bought the special tool from MikesXS on my cam chain. First of all I don't really understand the point of the spring. I unscrewed the drive bolt and put the pin through the spring put the top back on and tightened it down all the way. If i push up on the tip I feel no springyness (is this a word?).
Next I placed the tool over what I think is the master link (it has a circular indent on one side and a slot on the other side, is this the correct part to press?)
I could really use some help on this.

I not that sharp on this topic, mostly I'm good at webmasterring. But I got to say thats dam funny, springyness.... It's a word now thats for sure, I'm gona try and use it 5 or 6 times at work tommerrow.
