All -
I think a headlight visor would look neat on my bike... you know... the chrome or aluminum ones that resemble an eyebrow or ball cap bill. Where might I get one, and how do they install? I'd hate to put any holes in my stock bezel. I wonder if something like double sided adhesive would work?
Thanks!

I've got a small one for a 5" lamp you can have if it'll fit. It just clips in between the headlamp & the lock ring with 2 tabs. It's probably small enough to mail from here without a mortgage. It is chrome, but needs polishing. (minor rust).
Lemme know. >8/

mr... thanks very much! I'm just guessing, but it seems to me that my lamp might be bigger than 5", just from recollection... I'll have to check when I get home and let you know.
Thanks!

Harley's have a nice variety of eyebrows available, for headlights, passing lamps and turn signals. The basic chrome ones don't cost that much either (probably because there is no HD logo on them). I have some and they look great.

rayf, is that something I could pick up at a local Harley dealer? That sounds like a good option.
Oh... mr, my lamp is likely 7", so I think I'll have to pass on your offer. Thank you though!

Yes, your local HD will have it or can get it. The 7" visor is part number 67752-77T. I believe its $15.
You can log on to Harleys website and put that # in, to see it.
Good luck,
Ray

TeeCat give us a pic of that if you do it. I like the look on some other models but on an XS it might be cool. Never thought of it myself and am planning to swap out my slightly egg shaped oem black one with a NOS chrome 76' one .

JC Whitney is where I bought my 7" head light visor for my Triumph. I'm wanting one for the XS also so I suppose need to put together another JCW order. I think I paid about $7. The visor is a common item so maybe we can find one at an auto parts store.
