I have completed my pipes and have gone with a full length pipe with turn down ends, my ?? is will the length provide enough back pressure or should I go with the washer baffle which I went ahead and made today just in case.

Don't know what your carbs are or what you are running but be careful.....without the proper mixtures it will be fun until it isn't.........catch 22 as usual.........

Stock headers, a cpl 30" turn downs(1 3/4) form Pep Boys and, welded a nice bead all way round, ground it smooth and done, between parts and tape maybe $45 and a cpl hours, took me more time to get that damn tape right.

i would use the washer deal that way you can adjust the backpressure to get the best power

Those are some loooooong pipes. I suspect you have plenty of back
pressure.
