Hi, Looking for a chrome front rim off of a later model special. 36 Spokes. 19 inches. I have a hub but won't turn one down if it comes with the rim. I have tons of stuff laying around to swap also. |

I have Radian forks but I used a XS750 triple tree with a Xs650 stem pressed in and tig welded. |

In 1977 Yamaha made the XS750D and XS750 2D. The "D" had 35mm forks, the "2D" and all subsequent XS750's had 36mm forks.

I remember reading long ago about problems with rephased
engines and electronic ignitions. Did anybody ever sort the

You have to remove the stem from the 650 lower and press it into the 750 lower. I used a lathe to cut the welds. I then used a hydraulic press to remove each stem. I then put the 650 stem in the lower ... |
