I used[u] no [/u]sealer on all of the gaskets on my rebuild!
But having said that I was [u]"Super Fussy"[/u] on the cleanliness of the mating surfaces!
No leaks so far!

The AGM battery should be "good to go "when you receive it.
Just ask when you pick it up,or just put a voltmeter on it.Should be close to 12 volts or you may want to put a little trickle char ...

I would not be too quick to pull the trigger on the TCI.
Before I spent the money elsewhere,I would take the time to replace the 3 prong transistor in the TCI unit.
The transister number is MJE5742G ...

The AGM battery is well worth the money.
I believe it is one of the best up-grades you can do on old technology.
I am on the 3rd year on mine and still going strong!
