State by state. I can tell you from personal experience from a few times being pulled over that vertical is illegal in Iowa.

Budget is the ultimate factor. Like I said, I'm more than capable of doing a complete rebuild. It's the mighty dollar that rules most of my decisions on this one.

Looks good so far. I think I'd go opposite though and instead of finding a thinner fender, going with a fatter tire. I think the shocks are giving you a wide look in the back and it would look best ...

Well I got the motor out of the bike tonight, and that was the easy part.
