This is funny -- When I bought my '00 V-Star on Craigslist the seller used the low mileage (8,800 all in Caps) as a selling point and then noted in his list of improvements and upgrades that the speed ... |

I'm using Pirelli Speed Demons at the moment and they are with out a doubt the stickiest tires I have ever had.
A bit spendy, but worth the cost in cornering and wet pavement. |

I just checked my '00 V-Star and it looks to me that the clutch perch will accept the original XS clutch cable.
I imagine the V-Star throttle and switch assemblies could also be modified and inte ... |

I did it when it was installed.

Update:
Rode the bike from Seattle to Portland over the weekend, round trip was a little over 375 miles.
Took the battery out (an AGM from MikesXS) and put it on the charger when I got home -- ... |

Installed the new Regulator/Rectifier when I got home today.
Installation took less than 30 minutes and 5 zip ties.
The difference was immediately apparent when I kicked it over -- It started ... |
