I had the same issue. I did the individual blades in a sealed rubberized fuse holder. Seems to work well. Also, I can route them around the RLU making it easier to get the seat on and off.

Did you see the one on Mikesxs? There may be some old ones around on Craigslist or Ebay off say an old Moto-Guzzi or Triumph that could be modified to fit your new backbone.

Yamahopper,

RLU is Reserve Lighting Unit. Thus far i haven't had trouble with, however, many on this forum will say to bypass it with jumper leads.
