clutch lever question on 72650 the lever pulls in fine but does not spring back could this just be a weak spring inside the cover ? it seems to have some tension on that spring when i have the cover off thanks for any advice

- take the lhs cover off, dont lose the ball bearing...does the worm work when lever is pulled-does lever return, check the spring, is worm housing cracked, is worm well lubricated...try disconnecting the cable-does it move freely-if not binding clean and lubricate-if not replace...check the push rod, is it bent...reassemble and adjust--if still not working youll have to have a look at the rhs

I think I would start by lubing the cable. A lot of problems can be cured by proper lubing of the cable and actuator worm .
