When looking at exhaust systems at MikeXS, he lists "early" and "late" headpipes and systems; '70-'73 and '77-on.
I have access to a complete exhaust from a '73...will it fit a '75 or '78 frame?

I don't think so, but just to be sure you need to send that old exhaust to me and I'll send you you a newer one Cool

What's different about the early pipes? The way they hug the frame or ???

Don't know for sure, just guessing because the frame geometry changed a little after the early bikes. I imagine you could probably make them work with some improvisation in the mounting.

Not sure of the mounting but the early headers have those sharper angles coming down, like the old Triumphs, newer pipes have a sweep to them, less angled.

ikes has the early, angled headers for the later bikes I believe.
