Hey guys,

I just took a look at the mufflers on my xs1b and noticed that there is a lot of rattling inside of them both. I'm pretty sure that they are both rotted out inside...

I was wondering what my options are for good sounding mufflers?

I know mikes sells "the best sounding exhaust every made for the xs" but they're going to run me quite a bit of money. Are there any pipes that are good and less expensive or should i just not be a tight wad?

Taylor, you could try looking on craigslist or at a mc swap meet for some sportster mufflers.Everybody takes them off. They shouldn't have a crossover though. I have a set I bought for 10 or 15 dollars that I'm going to try out sometime.Pretty sure I'll have to fab up some brackets though. Jayel has them on his bike.
