I was just browsing Ebay.
A new fellow on their is selling seats. The seat he is making is for a 77.
I told him it only fits a few model years. He emailed me back asking for more information on seats. I told him to check out this site, and ask for help on the seats. Differences on mounts and such for the different models.
I thought we might be able to help and get a good product that we can use. It's not often we can help in product development. His price and shipping seemed reasonable.

Leo:
What is the ebay item number or link? I would like to check that out and perhaps give him some input.
I would buy 2 from Mike's right now if he wasn't out of stock.

The ebay item number is 120427919206 The upholstery looks a bit different than the stock seat, but looks good.

Oh man!!! $70 shipping? I knew there had to be a catch. I think I'll wait for Mike's shipment to come in and go the extra $30.

He's in Vietnam. Influencing manufacturers is a problem since everything is made overseas.
