The primaries were a treat i bought at a time i had a couple of dollars to spare, and was told no more primaries were going to be made, (good sales pitch a), and having 3 bikes i intend to play with a few things, as soon as i stop buying and do some more work on them................Another way to retain 1st is to gear down to 17/30 with mikes 5th gear., the 5th gear will get you up where you want to be............I remember you saying John, with your gearing 5th wouldn't pull past 80 mph, so my last gearing should still retain some of 1st and still do the ton in 5th Laughing If you have the nerv............I will be running a 750 kit with the racing primaries for that extra torque..........i know why spend so much money, but hey WTF am i going to do with it any hows, why save it for someone else, i intend to enjoy it while i can............don't want to end up in the children's ward having a stroke Laughing Laughing Laughing MJ joke i liked that, bit crass butt funny, Laughing

The $24.00 for Manhattan wasn't a bad deal either.

How much fire-water will it take to straighten Wall st. back out?

Yeah, the problem was that when we agreed to all that, we didn't think you were serious...

As far as the fire water, that depends entirely on who the white man can sell it to next... If he could just get those Muslims to take it in trade for oil...

Pamcopetes spreadsheet is great for working out ratios:
xs650temp.proboards.co...read=11068

Standard primary gears are 27 - 72 so ratio is 2.666:1
Ivans primary sets are 20% taller so they should be around 2.133:1

Ok, apparantly Ivans primaries are 32 - 69 gears, giving a 2.156:1 ratio
