Yeah jayel, I think there are many wiring diagram errors just to make trouble-shooting interesting.

The Haynes diagram for the SJ and SK (82 and 83) shows a B for black at the sidestand relay connector. However, the line goes down and connects to the Brown wire which is "signals" 13 volts supply. The side-stand relay feeds a signal, on the black/white wire, into the TCI to kill the ignition. I'm thinking that the B wire from the side-stand relay should actually be connected to the Black horizontal wire in the diagram. So, the question is, does the relay feed a ground or battery to the TCI to disable it?

aybe someone with an 82 or 83, would use a meter to check if the black wire on the relay is at ground or battery potential.

Thanks to weekendrider, informing us that the Haynes wiring diagram for 82 and 83 has an error on side-stand relay. B for black should connect to the ground wire and not to the brown wire as shown.
