Hey,
I'm working up a plan for a meet in the Smoky Mountain National Park, if you have some in-put on an event in the mountains how about letting me know. I was thinking two day event at a local campground with a early meet/greet and BBQ dinner the first day. On the second day, breakfast fire side then a ride in the park and a late BBQ lunch back at the campground and then from there your on your own. What do you think about this?

I have a local contact in asheville for the BBQ fix-ins like burgers, steak and fish. Also some side foods, basic BBQ stuff. I will comit to bring that stuff.

Can anyone make it?

I would love to but I only have one week of vacation left, That's reserved for
our Missouri Deer gun season in November. If there is anyone that wants to
try and meet up somewhere in the Midwest like Lake of the Ozarks or
Branson or ? let me know.

It's on Table Rock Lake in the SW corner of the state near Springfield. That's where alot of musicians have music theaters, Like Andy Williams, Bobby Vinton, The Lennon Sisters, Comedian Yakof Smirnoff, Dixie Stampeed, Silver Dollar City and tons of others. Other than that it's alot like Pidgeon Forge, Tn.

Id love to.. but thats a little far for me to travel.. and.. I get to pick one event a year.. and generaly I go to the annual YZF600R meet at deals gap.. its really a hoot.. plan on bringing the YZF (if I can finish repairing the crash damage by then) and the XS to see how well she does round the gap.. been taking her to some local twistys and she handles supprisingly well for an older bike... wish there was a little more power there though to get her up some of the steeper inclines

Hey,Im Just finding out about this site. I am down with a meet in the smokies. Check out Riders Roost in Ferguson, NC. Its a motorcyle only campground. There are about 12 primitive type cabins for rent also. Its a couple miles from the blue ridge parkway. Plus everything else. The owner (UncleRoy) is the greatest guy youll ever meet.check out his web site.

Put me down as a strong possiblility to attend, depending on the date and my work load at the time. Hey insulinboy, I'm 5 miles south of Chilhowee lake damn & the Dragon. Have a hunting camper with 2 beds. No need to rent a place next time your down. I'm 2 miles from the Pit Stop Motorcycle shop on Hwy 129 on the TN side.

I was Just there last summer to a wedding. So now I have "Kin" in Gatlinberg, TN. It would be a great X-Country trip for me! Took the Vette throught the parkways, the whole time wishing I were on a scoot.
