I just got the main bearing for the crank from a local shop for about 15 bux. Does anyone know where to get the other one(s) for the outer left and right?

I dont feel like paying 90 bux each. Although Ive spent 1k at Mikes XS (and more to come) I think 90 is steep.

Thanks!

NTN (Made in Japan) makes the same bearing. Its part number is: 6306NRC3.

It includes the snap ring (locating ring) also.

There is another number on the box : 009-25805

You happen to have dimensions for this bearing ?
A 6306 is pretty regular, though I dont have it sitting round, I have a 6305 sitting round if I recall. Common enough.
The bearings I have noticed are hardest to get are the bearings in such drives. They are same OD and width as the regular wheel bearings, but 5-6mm smaller ID. Crazy.
They have sizes like 68/22, something like that.
Cool.

Hey I've noticed that these bearings have locator holes drilled in them. I presume its extra insruance to keep the outer race from walking or spinning.
They got to have those. Right ? Do generic bearings have those holes ? Or is it something yamaha modified on the bearings.

Cool.

OK the center bearings are a Koyo N type - AKA ther are slide out outer race type. They have the W modification - meaning they are drilled for lubrication circulation.
Other than that, their OD is 67.8 mm or 2.67 inch.
ID is 31.6mm or 1.23 inch.
Width is 17.1mm or .66 inch.

So anyone know what its design number is. Like 6306 ... which BTW my local bike shop has a few of, its a common wheel bearing size apparently.

Cool.

Manual says its a 32X68X17 bearing. I will measure it again.

OK I now know what john was saying. The right side bearing is a DG3078 some or other ... 30 mm ID 78 mm OD, it is rather confusing for people who measure and sell bearings ... 30 ID means its a 6306 - I made the same mistake, and mine has the number partially scuffed off ... and

Anyway its not a 6306. Its 78MM OD, 6306 is 72 OD.

Now I realise that is what John was talking about with that machine shop thread. We need a 3mm wall sleeve 72 ID, 78 OD with that locating clip in it, that can be pressed on a 6306 bearing and we can use 6306 in it.
Cool.
