The wheels on my 1974 TX650 are in beautiful condition, with the exception of a few discolored spokes. Does anyone have any tips on refinishing them without disassembling the wheel? I thought about painting the inner parts of the wheels, but the hubs are still too nice to paint. Any help will be appreciated!

Four 0 steel wool and elbow grease. Then keep them polished with a good metal polish.

Thanks, xsleo! I will give it a shot,as it will create no overspray. After the steel wool, maybe I could seal them with some type of clearcoat instead of using metal polish. If I do use polish,I hope Simichrome polish will suffice. Thanks again for your reply.
