Pretty sure you have one like mine. Maxi Maroon is the factory name. The 77s, also came in Bountiful Blue which is a sort of dark blue I think . Like this bike. www.650motorcycles.com...fDavis.jpg
the 78 e standard model I have seen in the spruce green and maybe the black?

Only place I know is ebay. I THINK the 78E standard is the same side cover, at least the metal part. All the colors and numbers for the D and E I could find on the parts fiche are:
(447-21711-01-J3) COVER, SIDE 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 BOUNTIFUL BLUE
(447-21711-01-T4) COVER, SIDE 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 SPRUCE GREEN
(447-21711-01-U8) COVER, SIDE 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 MAXI MAROON
2F0-21711-00-2G UNAVAILABLE IN PRICE BOOK 1 COBALT BLUE
447-21711-01-R7 COVER, SIDE 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 STAR BLACK

Thanks - I'll wait a while to see if I can find a maroon one. I'm liking this bike more and more as I continue to improve it, but not sure if I'm going to paint it. Really the whole thing including the frame needs paint...
