Now that it looks like I am having to pull the motor to swap the front cam guide or a piston (I hope not, but I doubt it) has anyone run a proper stock rephased motor ?
I mean, if all the rephased ones are bored over, where is the comparison.

I am thinking of not even shaving the ports and cleaning it up. Nothing.
Just a light decking of the head, gaskets and well yea degreeing the cam, but no larger lobes nothing.

Of course what do I do for firing it. Yes I may have to use the points motor's cam ... I rather like the stock 82 trigger mechanism though.

Anyone degree that ? and well, how would you put in ignition coils ?

Cool.
Srinath.
