Yes I am in Bakersfield CA. The guy that does my painting is someone I grew up with. He does painting for Hot Rod Shows all over the nation. He also paints for NASCAR Western Series Team( Mayhew) No that is not a decal. I showed him what I wanted and he reproduced it. Since I am charged for about the cost of the paint I tell him put my stuff on the back burner and get to it when he can. There is no overspray or orange-peel. He does great work.. Ron also did my side covers and small piece for the air box. I am not going to run the airbox because I will be running 34mm Mikuni"s. Thanks for the kind words. I am having powder coating done and some de-chroming so Ron can paint my fenders and tailight bracket. Thanks again TC

Tank looks great. Bakersfield huh, went up there to visit a friend once when I was stationed in SoCal. Can't beat the weather! Went to a bathe restaurant while there too. Different but not bad.

I like my stuff to look good if fits my budget but I ride everything that I build. It will not be a garage queen. When I am finished I have a 1976 standard in the shed. Maybe re-phase and 750 kit? Thanks again for the kind words. TC

I took some parts to powder coater and to de-chrome fenders to be painted. I was stripping my frame down when I had a problem with a special bolt for the center stand. Looks like I have to cut the stand out and use another one. Can you still get the bolts. I also received a package from 650 Central. My brakes and a beautiful pair of 13.
5 inch black shocks plus fork seals and fork springs. Once I remove the center stand off to the powder coaters it goes. I will post pictures when stuff returns. TC
