Are the iridium spark plugs on Mike's really worth it. My friend and I are having a discussion about this.

I put a pair in a few weeks ago. I don't know if I can "feel" a difference in power but my average mileage seemed to improve by 3 0r 4 MPG.

unless your carbs are dead on dont use them because they fuel foul easy. i had a set on mine but im running rich. ruined them in 20 min.

I disagree with ponyjr. I put some in my bike. The original plugs were black suggesting an over rich mixture but the new ones have the perfect colour. I think the problem may be elsewhere and not with the plugs. So far I think they are great. Was it at Mikes that the dyno work was done. Saw something somewhere that suggested a 2HP difference. I'm sticking with them.

There is a difference with iridium spark plugs only. But...
DellOrto carbs + KN filters + Boyer Electronic Ignition + NGK Iridium spark plugs = a lot of difference !!! Engine works more precise and rhythmic, perfect color of spark plugs... I'm quite sure, you will have a lot HP boost. Maybe 10HP in my opinion with this combination...

I recommend Iridium spark plugs anyway...

I run iridium plugs and notice a difference in performance.BUy them u wont be sorry,unless your bike is junk they will do you right
