What engine parts do I need to swap over off the 80 ? I know I need the coils & do I use the Electronic plate that was the points plate on the 78 & swap the stators too. Thanks for the help John

Ive searched for info but cant find anything. Can someone run me thru whats involved in putting the 80 electronic ignition off my 80 parts bike on my 78 Std XS650. Also is it even worth the bother ?

Im going to find a 95 Thunderbolt S2 or 96-97 S3 before the prices take off. Rode a demo in 95 and loved it. 95 has all the best stuff on it before Harley cheapened them down

Never had any luck with Stabil on leaving gas in the carbs with 4 cylinders, pilot jets always plug up by springtime. I run them dry now then dump the Stabil gas in the spring & use it in my old truck ...
