It replaces the banjo bolt that connects the brake line to the master cylinder. It is simply a banjo bolt with a built in brake switch. |

I have a tool that plugs into the spark plug wire that you ground to test for spark ? Would this do the same thing ? |

Ooops I did forget the year. It is an 82 with electronic ignition. Bike had sat for years in a garage and I went through the carbs and cleaned with spray cleaner and used new seals and gaskets.

I just got my Harley Police Seat to be mounted on my 82 xs. Can anyone post pics of how they fabbed there mounts or any general ideas on seat mounting would be appreciated.

It turns out that my tci box wasnt the issue.
For anyone who isnt getting any spark I wouldnt attempt to diagnose anything until I removed the relay for the sidestand switch. This solved my proble ... |

I got the cap off and removed the screws and sprayed carb cleaner for a good thirty seconds. I then put the screws back in at 3 turns each. The bike now idles on half choke and gives some throttle but ... |
