Ok thanks. The lever has no pressure. What do you use to acctually bleed the brakes? It's like a valve that redirects it too the resevoir or do you just dump the fluid out of the system? And why would ... |

Sounds like the same problem I had, the intake valve was leaking on one of the cylinders. See if it blows air out the intake and if it will run one just one of either the cylinders. While it's running ... |

Ok I tried to do it but I still can't get this damn thing to work.
The ohm reader should read zero resistance at the point that it fires right? But when it reads zero resistance on the F mark full ... |

I thought it was 48hp. On another xs650 forum they keep saying it makes 50hp, so I'm guessing theyre rounding up. |

Get a metric thickness gauge. Its better to set them too loose then too tight if you can't set it exactly. |

I followed your instructions and worked on the valves today. The right intake valve was much too loose. I set the clearances at .10mm for intake and .15 for exhaust like it said in the service manual. ... |
