folding pegs are your friend if you lean the bike over in the turns too far, which isn't hard on a low bike.

a sold mount peg works well to cause you to spin out if it catches right

in pulling apart my forks for rebuild i seem to have lost the spring seat a for the top of the spring.

the forks are from a 77

ya i'll be busy alright

does anyone know of a fork tool to hold the inners so i can undo the fork bottom bolts?
mine are just spinning and i need to do the seals

i believe there is info on fitting the later rear wheel in the directions they sent you with the hardtail.

unfortunately mine are at the shop so i can't check them for you

sounds like a float not adjusted correctly or a sunk float

take the float out and make sure it floats in a small container of fuel.
