You can reuse the clutch side case gasket lots of times. Don't put sealer on it. Its not prone to leak.

The Wiki spring fix ... you have to drain oil and remove case cover. I think is says you may get at it without removing the clutch. I tried it a few years ago ... squeezed that spring ... but it didn' ...
