so my carb holders have some cracks in them. doesnt look like anything major but maybe should replace them before they start sucking air and runnin me lean.

almost ready to take the head off, then i will order parts from mikes. gonna keep running the cam chain thats in there. just gonna lap the valves and clean it all up. i am gonna replace the front guid ... |

well, this is an '81 650 special. with 19,500 miles on the ticker. when should i think about doing a whole head job? if i am going to have the head off... you know.

i am aboutto install the pamco kit for an 81 650. the kit came with 4 bushings, 2 steel, 2 brass. where do they go? the directions are slim on how to install the advance rod and wieghts on late model ... |

my clymers manual calls this part "joint". it is the part on the clutch push lever that the clutch cable clips in to. well the nut on the front sprocket has apparently worn through this in the 16000m ... |
