I think they ran out out of the one coil and are just replacing with other one,I believe the only difference is a an ohm or to which shouldn't be a problem.

With the silver ones your eye is drawn directly to those and the engine case,you want the eye to travel around the bike,how about making the silver one like some sort of checkered flag design.
