what about the valves is there any thing that needs extra attention
i assume the machine shop that i have do the bore and hone can probably port and polish too? |

it is a hole in the top of the piston i can see it through the spark plug hole

i feel that the springs on the atu needed replaced becasue the bike started to idle high after warming up
i had that on my next order from mikes but i guess i might have been to late

well... i found my problem and it was what i have feared .... no compression on the right side
i am getting 120 psi on the left side and 0 on the right
i checked and all of the magnets are still ... |

i was not able to get a spark with the listed steps i feel that i may also have a short in a wire somewhere because i found that i blew a fuse after replacign that i still was unable to get a spark

did you have to remove the tabs from the flasher and the auto cancel unit to make the coil fit
mine does not go in as nice as the one you have shown in the picture |

isnt there other things that are mounted in the location of where the coil is one toward the front of the bike and another right below the top frame bar
turn signal relay maybe and something else
