Alright so got the tank painted today. This is just the first coat, but gives you the idea. Total hand can job! One side ran bc it was windy and I was spraying against the wind.

Why don't you just cut out the sides with a template and weld them on the opposite sides. While you have them out fix the dent and do a hammered look if that's what you want.

Actually after thinking about it and REALLY wanting to protect the pamco from the perm mag till I iron things out I made another diagram. Would this work, until the battery dies anyway?

Yeah the biggest fear that I have right now is blowing the pamco. Definitely fearful of that. Heard that with the perm mag set up has blown a few.

Yeah it's a Perm Mag set up. Good. Even though I'm just going to wire it for testfire I think it would be easier to work off of this to wire everything else up.

Alright.... So are there any negative performance from just having the hose drop straight down and spew out on the chain? That's how mine was whenever I got it....

Well the downside is that the old rotor was damaged. I had to weld the puller onto it in order to get it off. If that tells you anything. So what would I do if I already have the rotor off?

Yeah on the Woodruff key. I converted my ignition from TCI to Points. So I guess the woodruff has become obsolete in my case?

In light of the amount of times I messaged MRRIGGS over on the garage forum about the Perm Magnet Alt conversion I figured I'd order his stator plate. So I'm waiting on it now.
