Soak the chain in kerosene, that'll help get any of the broken down oil out of it, then soak it in clean oil. |

figured i'd give this thread a bump since i'm after the same thing as zimme, i'd really like to get a 5 gallon tank on there. Any other Yamaha Model tanks mount up without too much rigging? |

I'd need a l/s caliper off a 80 xs1100 as well as another rotor + hold down bolts.

I was going to try it but went a different way, they have 4" square blazer LED tail lamps with a shine down light for a license plate. The bolts looked they would have been spaced perfectly to remove ... |

ugh, yesterday i went and got a full tank of gas, without thinking i parked the bike in the sun. Came out to a puddle of fuel and a slightly tweaked carb float. |

i went ahead and ordered a new petcock from mikesxs, at least that would explain why the bike started having a high idle like the carbs were unbalanced all of a sudden. |

so yeah, i am pretty sure the petcock is leaking vacuum. will the petcock deliver enough fuel to run the bike when in prime? if so i 'll just use it as an on off switch for now |
