A piece of rope,like clothesline maybe,soaked in your favorite cleaner is a good start. time consuming.

Are you absolutely positive the bars are solid at the bend?If there's ny opening at all you should be able to fish a wire through.

So-called mechanic finally replaced the alt brushes but still not charging.This after 3 weeks.i told him to check voltage regulator and clean rotor of grunge.Hopefully that will get done this week.

On my first '81,I took the seat to an upholsterer and had him cut off the hump and recover. It wasn't exactly flat,had a slight dip.Gave me a lot of leg stretching and butt shifting room.
