I ended up with a 79 xs 650 special , a 2002 FZ1000, an 82 dt80 for the kids , a suzuki gn 250 also for the kids and a Virago 250 for the wife to play around with as a trainer bike

probably right ...I haven't looked at the earlier fz sizes though the style is the same . mines a 2002 and I had been away from bikes for entirely too long prior to this year ... now I have 5 Very Happy

Thats what I'm guessing ... at least the front one is . I'm not sure about the 18" rear . Mines 17" front and rear .. The only thing I seen on this bike that I'm not crazy about is the wrapped pipes ...
