How do you get the handlebar switches out of their mounts in the levers? I have an intermittent front brake light I've traced to the switch or the connection to it. There was a circular metal clip around it, but taking it off didn't do anything. Don't want to break it learning, so how do you do it?

look under the switch body where it's mounted should be a small hole that a peg on the switch clicks into, push it up and switch will slide out,

I looked for something like that, but will look again with the determination that comes from confidence that it's there Smile Might be under a little weather gasket on the wire that I failed to lift up or slide down.

just think of this .. if you remove the lever will the switch push out from the back? does the lever hold it in?

I like it when I do this. It does keep me humble. Thanks to Jayel once again.
