any body drilled one before what and how do i go about doing it. is there any thing i need to pay close attention to? other than having the holes spaced right for weight and to keep it in balance. thanks
its on a xs650

I looked into it and the benefits seemed negligible other than lowering unsprung weight.

I just finished drilling one. I have not rode it yet to see if there is any improvement other then looks...but def take it slow, use cutting oil, and have good bits.

Here's another pattern. I drilled my original disc and didn't seem to make much difference. Buy alot of bits.

what about chamfering the holes does it make a difference, just enough to break the edge it just seems so sharp when you drill it out. i don't want to be blowing through pads.

I dont think the should be chamfered, cant remember where I read that though.....Do recall MMM saying to drill a lesser diameter than the discs thickness
