Hey guys & gals

working on my rebuild, and my brother-in-law took off my chain's connecting link. After some research I've found that I have a Diamond XDL 530 chain that has been cut to 98 links. It is the proper size for my bike, but I have been all over the internet and can't seem to find a new connecting link. Does anyone have any ideas where to track down a chain connecting link of this brand and type?

Thanks,
Rob

I don't have an answer for you but on that topic, I've had mine off and back on probably 6-10 times since i got it. Seems to work fine but is that a bad idea?

rtaylor522, re throttle shaft seals
Paul at Free State Cycle 8601 Central Ave. Capitol Heights MD 20743 Phone: 301-808-9500 Fax: 301-808-4500 says he can order them for you. $3.79 ea.
Very friendly fellow and their dealership participates in dealer networking so he can check parts availability at other dealerships. In the case of said seals the closest stocking dealer is in Michigan.
You might try some of the other local shops as they might not participate in the parts network.

Thanks weekend rider...I tried to call them yesterday and they were closed on Mondays. Everyone else in the area wanted between 4.50 and 5.50 a piece. 3.79 is alot more reasonable. I found them online for 2.50/piece but they wanted 5 bucks shipping so still 15 bucks...either way I'll give them a call....thanks alot!
