Not sure where to post this but I stumbled across this wile looking for a gas tank design for my build. its a kick ass read and would have been a huge scary ride but none the less it is a great looking true old school bike now to see someone duplicate it with a yammer engine/ENGINES

I got the chance to meet Payne in 86 during bike week in Daytona.. interesting fella....... nice fast bike forsure!

I've meet him too, back in the late 60's early 70's a guy out of the H-D shop where I worked used to go over to Codova Ill. dragstrip to run him got his a** handed to him every time except once when Leo broke I think but he had bragging right once lol
