Does anybody know where you can get those rubber sockets that hold the bulbs in the tach and speedo on a 77? A few of mine are torn and I would like to replace them.
Thanks

I looked at the parts fiche and they do have part numbers it seems. Not just the socket though. It is the wire with the sockets and harness attached. In the parts diagram I think they call it for the speedo, 2J2-83536-00-00-meter, socket. For the tach , 1J3-83520-01-00-SOCKET CORD ASSEMBLY. There is a different number, by one digit, for motors past a certain number. Don't know what yours is. If you put those numbers into google on a search you'll get some hits. Some can be pricey if available. Ebay is an alternative too.
When you get to looking for bulbs, there is a cheap ebay seller. Dealer wanted $3 PER bulb. The ebay seller (shuvleman) sold me 10 for $11 shipped I think.
