XSKev, If you find one I'd be interested to know. Since the demise of Halco Tuning I've ordered various bits from Rudiger Paustian in Germany, who I understand is supplied by MikesXS (search under xs650shop.de). Had no problems but it's relatively costly with postage (but still cheaper than Yamaha). There was a guy planning to set up in the UK a couple of years ago who put his plans on hold to develop a tuned XS650 motor in the interests of improving the breed, but I've heard nothing since.

Thanks Kev I'll check it out - I've got a few parts that I'm going to have to get soon; I changed my swingarm bearings to bronze bushes a few years ago but there's now a bit of play again - enough to feel nervous when riding 'with intent' as someone put it recently. Has anyone converted to the needle roller set up, and is it rated for performance, longevity?
The guy I was thinking of was Trevor Palmer of Palma Tuning, who was setting up as an XS650 specialist a while ago. Does anyone know what happened to the project?

N1.Ive had some great deals from them over the years - for instance a brand new XS front guard for £40 last year , They keep all the jets/spares for Mikuni roundslides too!
.. I look at that 750 kit on Heiden Tunings site, I wish Id bought one when the pound to Euro rate was more favourable to us, but at £500+ its just too much for me now!Its a shame cos those wide-finned barrels look the buisness..
