Does the 17-6822 have a positive and negative specifically, the coil came with a blue and a black wire connected and the plug wires... Again I ask because I have had issues getting spark after installing the kit and I am also unsure of the wiring that I did, the 1 of the Red/whites to the blue from the coil, the other red/white to the red on the pamco plate, the green from the plate to the black from the coil and the black from the plate to the former mounting hole for the coils...

Look close and see if there is a plus or minus on them. I haven't used that one but if you are unsure drop mike or pete a note before you do. On mine it didn't matter.

newelly,

That wiring is fine. The coil is not polarity sensitive.

Pete,
Did you see the post that I made in the electrical on this site and on the garage? That is an update on my situation, I am going to be wiring in-line blade fuses this afternoon...

newelly,

OK. Run the tests that I posted both here and in the garage.
