Hi folks, My name is Butch and I hail from Fort Worth TX. I've been riding and wrenching on motorcycles since 1969 and I've always had a preference for bobbers and choppers of japanese make. Although I've owned many different harleys, triumphs, BSAs, etc, I always seem to come back to the reliability of the japanese bikes. I suppose part of the reason is that I'm cheap and jap bobbers are much cheaper to build and maintain than any others. I'm currently working on a 1974 TX 650 bob job and it's been a lot of fun. Found it through Craigslist cheap in boxes and it's been a joy to work with so far.

I'll do that soon. I picked up a beater sporty tank and a pair of mini-apes at a bike salvage yard yesterday so it's coming together nicely.
