definately a clean lookin' bike, just watch leaning to the right, looks like low clearance on the brake linkage

I think keeping it on a budget actually helps with a chop. You ended up with something simple and clean rather than having a bunch of unnecessary junk tacked on to what already looks awesome.
Nice work, brother.

Good observation, oldbaldguy. Any problems with that leaning into a right turn, yz?

I kept it so low budget that if you look at my petcock its actually a 3/8" ball valve with an elbow and barb fitting. Original battery box as well. As far as turning to the right goes, I have not had any issues yet. If I do have any, I will probally just end up shortening the bottom side

practically in-line with the outside of the tire, as long as he's not jumping curbs or possums should be ok

Yeah, after looking a second time, you'd really have to be leaning really hard into a turn for it to drag. I absolutely love hearing about the budget solutions to problems. It's great.

good clean lines. How does that brake connection work? It looks like it might bend under heavy braking.

I like it, I'm working on a budget build for a bobber and looking to keep budget at $2000.00. That would include a purchase of a 80 XS650 for $500 in running condition. The rest would be the hardtail and other incedentials.
