I'm replacing my stock air-box with Emgo pods and after checking the fabulous site "Mikes" it appears that I won't have to replace the needles. I run pod-filters on 4 of my bikes and have always had to raise or replace the needles. Am I reading "Mike" correctly? Will I not have to manipulate the needles? Get the best results you can with pilot and mainjet changes, then go to the needle clip if you have to (usually you don't). BTW, the inner flange on the Emgo filter sometimes obstructs the pilot air intakes (small holes in the intake bell that feed air to the pilot circuit when the slides are down); it's often necessary to cut grooves in the flanges to correct this, and I'd advise you to do it from the git-go.
