I'm looking for a non-lock gas cap that will fit on an XS-750 tank. Anyone have any idea of what might fit?

Design a button or lever or twist tab that would replace the key lock..........I'll take one of those.......

That is just a piece of scrap metal from my junk box. If I like it, I'll do another that looks a little better. This one works great.

This could work fine for me. What about the lock/key? Does this just overide it or did you do something to the lock? Good timing, I broke my only key last week!

I drilled an elongated hole in the bracket to provide clearance for the tit on the lock cylinder so the lock is inefective. You could also just file off the tit on the lock cylinder if you are not concerned about restoring the key function.

Thanks, I'll give it a go. I won't need the lock again, but hate to see a perfectly good tit going to waste........
