I thought I'd post the progression of my Cafe with pictures in stages . These are pictures of the pivot point mods I did to strenghten this particular point, which flexes tremendously when cornering forces are high and hopefully with these mods, along with the Radian arm ,these should eliminate any flexing issues to a large degree. Just click on picture to inlarge.........Jack Click the address now ,I went back and reset it. It appears to be working now,if not I'll come up with something.....Jack

Jack,
Photobucket is not letting anyone view your images. It's asking for your pass word. Have you had any luck making a personal photo album here? It really very easy let me know if you need any help.

You must have some type of pop-up blocker on. There only 2 or 3 things that come up via pop-up window. You should be able to control the permitted sites in your blocker software.

The welded areas are still in their rough state but will be smoothed out and filled in with body filler to give a slicker appearance when completed...Jack

Heymeng.............. are ya finished yet Mr. Green The back section, along with radian arm is ROCK SOLID Mr. Green now i need to address the front to strenghten the steering head and replace those whimpy forks or tooth picks is more like it Rolling Eyes I added alittle weight but i'm more concerned with handling than weight reduction at the moment. I have a few friends that ride Guzzys and they're built like a tank and I know of very few people that can hang with these guys and that includes myself Rolling Eyes . If you build a bike thats rock solid through the curves, your speed well only increase from the confidence you'll obtain from the no fear factor....Jack

Just recently I made a few changes to the chassis layout of my cafe project. I dumped the Radian arm in favor of a FZ aluminum swing arm, along with a mono shock for a modern cafe appearence. All that's left is top mounting brackets and the arm and shock installation is complete, which should be completed this week end.................jack

Hey guys........thanks for the compliments but at the momment I'm beating my head up against the wall, along with downing plenty of GoodyPowders, trying to come up with a seat combination that I like without giving up comfort.the second is the stock seat and the other is a BMW seat I had laying around collecting dust. The seat lengthsare the exact same but with a opposite appearence of character. Choices.............. Choices..............Jack.
img.photobucket.com/al...G_0615.jpg

This is the stock seat, kinda falls in between line to building a Roaster, which is really what I'd like to build but needs to be raised up 3/4" for a better riding position,no problem there but the frontal section needs to be widened to match the tank to 10"
