Cam Chain Adjuster Cap for '75 XS650

I am looking for a cam chain adjuster cap for 1975 Yamaha xs650 - used or new. Do you have one or know where I can get one?

y ride is down and summer is ending soon.

Hey I saw this one on ebay it looks like it has a cap and it may work for you.

Hey Russo - Thanks for the reply. Yes - the e-bay one would have worked for me... Although its from a diffrent year.
The cap and adjuster on my bike stuck out much further, and the caps were are not interchangable.

Yesterday I found a guy in my area with a 650 engine on his garage floor with the short cap, and he encouraged me to replace the entire assembly, which I did this morning....

It works. Smile

Yeah, my bike came with a broken cap, I used a piece of hose clamped to a bit of round steel before I bought the one you linked to!

I also need the same cap for my 75 xs650b. The previous owner of my bike must have cranked hard on it, because I went to take it off and it fell apart on me. Until I can find a new one I JB welded the old one back together. Any advice on where to get one would be appreciated.
