For those of you running a pamco and minimal electrical, do you have a seperate switch for turning the ignition on? If so, do you just turn the bike off with the key or do you use the switch first as a kill switch? I have a new reg/rec comming and don't want to mess anything up. Does it matter? Thanks for the responses!

In my opinion, every motorcycle should have a kill switch as well as the ignition switch. It matters not whether you have full or minimal electrics. The kill switch needs to be close to the right or left handgrip, so that you can shut off the engine quickly in an emergency, and still keep both hands on the handlebars.

When shutting off the engine, I always use the kill switch first, so that it becomes an automatic response. The kill switch is a safety device, so don't be tempted to wire the bike without one.
