Hi, just registered for this forum. I'm Em, from Tampa FL.
Maybe some of you all know me from the XS650 email "list".
The more info the better, that's how I see it, so I figured I'd check you all out too.
I had a '79 that I improved some over the year I had it. Had timing and carb probs. Ran good when I sold it.
I also have an 02 Suzuki SV 650 that is my main rider and I have an 80 XS project bike that's disassembled now - I want to start on it again very soon. Have to get my work space cleared out. (major task)

Was gonna sell it and get an H-D Nightster, but I dunno something is telling me I have to build what I want myself, or else just forget about it.

So I'm just going to hang for now if that's ok and listen to what you guys are chatting about.
Later on, when I get hands on into the project, I'm sure I will have questions.
thanks,
Em
aka Aunty Em
ps any other ladies on here?
pps don't worry guys, I'm pretty used to rude biker dude stuff, lol

hey there. good to meet you. 34 CV's with Uni's, stock sprocket and mac 2-1 for a start, lol, but that could change - I'm not in a position to swear by anything yet, that's for sure.
Also I have in my pile of parts a Kerker exhaust from back when they made one for the XS, so I'm hoping to try that.

Do you have one XS, or more?
pics?
