Here is my 77 XS650 I built. It took alittle over 3 weeks to build this, most of the time was waiting for parts or the powdercoating.
I raked the frame 9 degrees over stock, 4" over forks, rims and hubs powdercoated, spoke painted with caliper paint. Lower fork legs powdercoated and all mounts removed. TCbros hartail kit, forward controls, battery box. New aftermarket sportster tank powdercoated. I made the seat. Pamco ignition, amc voltage regulator, radio shack rectifier, kick only, Mikuni 34mm carbs, suicide shift, rear brake only, modified CB350 scrambler pipes. I'm working on a 68 Triumph T100R now, then a Iron Head sportster chopper/bobber.

great bike man! 3 weeks is great timing, im getting ready to start a chop from a bone stock xs with weld on hardtail etc., hoping to get it done within a month and im not messing with the front of the frame so this gives me hope!!! Cant wait to start my choppin! THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION AND AWESOME BIKE! Very Happy

im gonna guess the lever is the rear brake and the old brake pedal is now a clutch???
